This occurs, for example, when you give us an order for services on your own behalf or on behalf of your company, for example, via the button on our website to request a quote, when you visit our website, send us an e-mail, apply for a job with us or give your business card to one of our people.
We also collect personal data by consulting registers (for example, the Chamber of Commerce's trade register), websites and other public sources.
- What do we process your personal data for?
Our operations sometimes require your personal data in order to provide the best possible service. We process your personal data for the following purposes:

On the other hand, we do this to ensure that, in the event of an emergency, we know who is at our facilities.
- On what grounds do we process personal data?
Under the AVG, we may only process your personal data if there is a basis for doing so. Our processing takes place on the basis of one of the following bases in the AVG:
- For the preparation or performance of a contract entered into with you or the company for which you work;
- With your permission; and/or
- Because of a legitimate interest, where we have carefully weighed our interest against your interest in protecting your data.
To the extent that the processing is done with your consent, you are entitled to withdraw this consent at any time. However, withdrawing your consent does not affect the processing of your personal data on the basis of this consent prior to its withdrawal.
- With whom do we share personal data?
In some cases, it may be necessary for us to share your personal data with third parties. This may include, for example:
- If, in order to provide our services, we will need to share certain information with postal companies for the purpose of sending printed documents; and
- Because we engage third-party vendors for processing as described in this privacy & cookie statement, such as our IT vendors, designers and printers.
With respect to these third parties to whom we provide your personal data, two situations may arise:
- The third party is itself also a data controller and therefore responsible for processing that data.
- The third party is to be considered a processor of Loko Verpakkingen in which case we will conclude a processor's agreement with this third party that meets the conditions set by the AVG. In the event that this processor processes personal data outside the European Economic Area in a country without an adequate level of protection, our processor agreement with this third party will contain appropriate safeguards that must be put in place to provide a sufficiently high level of protection. Typically, these safeguards will consist of us agreeing with the processor the
so-called standard contract provisions established by the European Commission will agree.
Furthermore, by means of Google Analytics, we collect the surfing behavior of our website visitors in order to track and improve the content and use of our website . However, we do this in a privacy-friendly manner: we have a processing agreement with Google, your IP address is anonymized and we do not share your personal data with Google. 8. How long will your personal data be kept?
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we collected and recorded it.
If there is a legal retention requirement, we adhere to those time periods. For example, tax laws require us to retain invoice, payment and order information for a period of seven years. For possible damage claims, we will sometimes need to keep certain data even longer.
- How are your personal data secured?
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification of your personal data.
If you have any questions about the security of your personal information at Loko Packaging, please contact us at info@loko-verpakkingen.nl.

You may also, under certain circumstances, restrict processing, request us to transfer your data or object to processing. We will assess whether we can comply with your request under the law (including the AVG and the AVG Implementation Act).
We may not be able to fulfill your request. For example, because the processing of certain personal data is required to fulfill our legal or contractual obligations. We will of course inform you with reasons if we do not or cannot comply with a particular request.
Finally, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch regulator. This is the Personal Data Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
